Can I Enter Heaven with Good Works I Do?

We must understand that God is flawless by His nature. We are transgressing the standards of righteousness set by the Holy Creator, who is sinless, with every sin we do, even if it is just a thought transgression.

But He first loved us, and this loving God offers us the free gift of forgiveness in order to save mankind, which is fallen in sin and unrighteous. He sends His Holy Spirit to live in our spirit when we confess our sins via Jesus Christ and make Him Lord of our lives.

You will be set free by the grace, kindness, and truth of Jesus Christ. You are not made free by adhering to the old covenant law. Salvation cannot be attained by doing good deeds and trying to use our merit or water baptism alone to avoid what He did on the cross.

The only way we can enter paradise and live forever is through the gift of salvation through the Mediator to the Father. According to the Bible, there is only one mediator—Jesus Christ—not religious rites or Mary as an intercessor. As His earthly blessed virgin mother, Mary is a remarkable woman selected according to Proverbs 31. But since she is a human, she was looking to Jesus, her Savior, for salvation. As stated in these verses of the Bible:

And Mary said: Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.. Luke 1:38

And Mary said, my soul does magnify [exalt] the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. For he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden [servant].. Luke 1:46..

For there is not a just man upon earth, that does good, and sinneth not. Ecclesiastes 7:20

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23..

It's not about God weighing out the good versus bad things we do, and if good outweighs the bad then we are accepted by God, and have eternal life.

What is it about?

God first loves us that He sent His Son to enter the earth. God's love, mercy, grace and voluntary perfect and Holy sacrifice on the cross is what opens the door to save us. Faith and the gift of salvation is what truly saves us. It's Jesus, plus nothing (no good merit) which gives us salvation.

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
